    SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif – Tahoe Home Consignment, South Lake Tahoe’s destination for home interiors and furniture consignment serving the Tahoe Basin, Truckee, Carson Valley, and Reno areas, has announced its community collaboration with Rescued Hearts Ranch, (RHR), a non-profit whose mission is to empower local youth by providing hands-on experiences with horses and farm, through community-based, care-farming.

We are also deeply committed to the concept of care-farming and hands-on experiences with horses and teaching a broad range of vocational and life skills.   • Tahoe Home Consignment gives new life to old furniture

    SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – After working for years in the science field, South Lake Tahoe local Jen Hause decided to give up the stressful job and exercise her creative side, leading her to open Tahoe Home Consignment.

    Hause studied biology at Cal Poly then received her Masters in cellular and molecular biology at University of Colorado Denver. She spent several years working in the industry, taking many contracts, including contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense.

    But she calls that her “past life.” The pandemic was the catalyst for her to leave the industry behind….
